I conduct research at MIT’s Data + Feminism Lab and UFSC’s Center of Gender Studies in Foreign Policy and International Politics (NEGPEI).

My research focuses on reproductive rights and lethal gender-related violence in Latin America. My theoretical foundation in these areas is grounded in an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from International Relations, Critical Data Studies, and Feminist and Gender Studies.

I hold a Ph.D. (’24) and a Master’s degree (’20) in International Relations from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, Brazil), as well as a B.A. (’17) in International Relations from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, Brazil).

During the 2024-2025 academic year, I worked as a Postdoctoral Associate in the MIT Women’s and Gender Studies Program. During the 2023-2024 academic year, I was a Ph.D. visiting scholar and recipient of the MIT-SHASS Diversity Predoctoral Fellowship within the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. In 2022-2023, I was a Ph.D. visiting student at MIT’s Data + Feminism Lab.
